Tube-to-color math (12×12 build): the tube a fiber lives in = ⌈fiber# / 12⌉. Fiber 47 → ⌈47/12⌉ = 4 → Brown tube.
Fiber-within-tube: ((fiber# − 1) mod 12) + 1. Fiber 47 → (46 mod 12) + 1 = 10 + 1 = 11 → Rose fiber. So fiber 47 = Brown tube, Rose fiber.
Confirm the group size first — the math above assumes 12. Substitute 24 on a 6×24 cable and fiber 47 lands in tube 2 (Orange) at position 23, Rose with a black tracer. Same fiber number, same standard, different tube. Corning ALTOS HD and MiniXtend HD both ship 144F this way.
